Sitiveni Rabuka, the leader of the People’s Alliance Party, has announced that General Secretary Usaia Waqatairewa will be stepping down from his position. Rabuka has expressed concerns regarding Waqatairewa’s performance as a party official and plans to propose his removal at the upcoming Management Board Committee Meeting. Waqatairewa declined to comment when approached by FijiLive. Last week, the party conducted its Annual General Assembly in Lautoka. Further updates are expected.
