Two candidates are set to be nominated for the role of Speaker of Parliament in an election scheduled for tomorrow at 8 AM. The Leader of the Opposition, Inia Seruiratu, has put forward the name of Ruveni Nadalo, the former Deputy Speaker. Mr. Seruiratu highlighted Nadalo’s extensive experience in parliamentary procedures and his abilities in managing legislative processes and overseeing debates in a fair manner.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has proposed Justice Filimone Jitoko for the position.
