Education Minister Aseri Radrodro has called on parents and guardians of Natabua High School in Lautoka to remain steadfast in providing emotional support for their children’s educational journeys. This appeal came during a recent prefects induction ceremony, where he emphasized the critical role that families play in shaping students’ academic performance and self-esteem.
“The involvement of parents significantly influences a child’s academic success and attitude towards education,” Minister Radrodro stated, urging the attendees to encourage a love for learning among their children. He expressed gratitude towards parents and family members present, recognizing their vital contributions to student achievements.
About 133 students were appointed to the student council for the 2025 academic year, marking a significant step in their leadership journey. Radrodro reiterated that a strong emotional foundation provided at home can motivate students to work harder and strive for excellence in their studies.
