Panthers’ Turuva Shines in NRL Final as Champions Claim Fourth Straight Title!

Fiji Bati fullback Sunia Turuva concluded his time with the Panthers on a high note, scoring a try to help the reigning champions secure a 14-6 victory over the Storm, thus claiming their fourth consecutive NRL title. Turuva, who is set to join the Wests Tigers next season, opened the scoring for the Panthers after the Storm initially took the lead with a try from Harry Grant. Liam Martin then capitalized on a clever pass from Nathan Cleary, crossing the try line to give the Panthers a 10-6 advantage at halftime. In the second half, Penrith centre Paul Alamoti added the only points with an unconverted try, keeping the excitement alive for the more than 80,000 fans in attendance.
