Panthers Triumph: Turuva Shines in Dramatic NRL Title Victory

Fiji Bati fullback Sunia Turuva concluded his tenure with the Panthers on a high note last night, scoring a try that helped the reigning champions secure a 14-6 victory over the Storm and clinch their fourth straight NRL title.

The speedy player, who is set to join the Wests Tigers next season, opened the scoring for the Panthers after the Storm initially took the lead with a try from Harry Grant.

Liam Martin then scored for the Panthers just before halftime, catching a clever pass from Nathan Cleary to give his team a 10-6 advantage going into the break.

In the second half, Penrith centre Paul Alamoti added the only points with an unconverted try, keeping the excitement alive for the over 80,000 fans in attendance.
