Fiji Bati fullback Sunia Turuva finished his time with the Panthers on a high note, scoring a try in their 14-6 victory over the Storm, securing the team’s fourth consecutive NRL title. Turuva, who will transition to the Wests Tigers next season, opened the scoring for the Panthers after the Storm initially took the lead through Harry Grant. Liam Martin then added a try for the Panthers with a clever pass from Nathan Cleary, giving them a 10-6 advantage at halftime. Penrith’s Paul Alamoti later extended their lead with an unconverted try in the second half, leaving over 80,000 fans anxiously watching the final moments of the match.
