Fiji Bati fullback Sunia Turuva concluded his time with the Panthers on a high note last night, scoring a try and leading the reigning champions to a 14-6 victory over the Storm, securing their fourth consecutive NRL title. The speedy athlete, who will join the Wests Tigers next season, opened the scoring for the Panthers after the Storm had taken an early lead through Harry Grant.
Liam Martin then sneaked in a pass from Nathan Cleary and successfully dove over the try line, giving the Panthers a 10-6 advantage at halftime. In the second half, Penrith centre Paul Alamoti added the only points with an unconverted try, keeping more than 80,000 fans on the edge of their seats.
