Fiji Bati fullback Sunia Turuva concluded his time with the Panthers in a remarkable fashion last night by scoring a try, which contributed to the reigning champions’ victory over the Storm with a score of 14-6, securing their fourth consecutive NRL title.

The speedy player, set to join the Wests Tigers next season, scored the first try of the match after the Storm had taken an early lead through Harry Grant.

Liam Martin then extended the Panthers’ lead by diving over for a try following a clever pass from Nathan Cleary, giving Penrith a 10-6 advantage at halftime.

In the second half, Penrith centre Paul Alamoti added the only points with an unconverted try, leaving over 80,000 fans in suspense until the final whistle.
