Fiji Bati fullback Sunia Turuva concluded his time with the Panthers on a high note, scoring a try as the reigning champions overcame the Storm 14-6, securing their fourth consecutive NRL title. Turuva, who is set to join the Wests Tigers next season, opened the scoring for the Panthers after Harry Grant had initially put the Storm ahead. Liam Martin then capitalized on a clever pass from Nathan Cleary, diving to the try line to give the Panthers a 10-6 lead at halftime. Paul Alamoti scored the only points of the second half with an unconverted try, keeping more than 80,000 fans on the edge of their seats.
