Fiji Bati fullback Sunia Turuva concluded his time with the Panthers on a high note last night, scoring a try and contributing to the reigning champions’ 14-6 victory over the Storm, securing their fourth straight NRL title. Turuva, who is set to join the Wests Tigers next season, registered the Panthers’ first try in the final after the Storm initially took the lead through Harry Grant. Liam Martin then made a clever play off a pass from Nathan Cleary, diving over for another try that put the Panthers ahead 10-6 at halftime. In the second half, Penrith’s Paul Alamoti added the only score with an unconverted try, keeping more than 80,000 fans on the edge of their seats.
