Tarun Padyachi delivered an exceptional performance over the weekend, clinching the title at the Coastal Rentals and Suites Tiv Sangam Champion of Champion snooker tournament held at the Sigatoka Club. Padyachi showcased his exceptional skills and consistency throughout the event, culminating in a commanding 3-0 victory against Vineel Nand in the final.
The quarterfinals featured intense grappling for dominance, with Padyachi securing a decisive 3-0 win against Sashi Pillay. Vineel Nand also made a strong showing, defeating Manav Raj with a score of 3-1. Other notable results included Kushal Krishna narrowly overcoming Kailash Goundar in a tightly contested 3-2 match and Muni Sami prevailing 3-0 against Mukesh Chetty.
The semifinals maintained the tournament’s level of excitement, but Padyachi stood out with another 3-0 win, this time against Muni Sami, which advanced him to the final round. On the other side of the bracket, Vineel Nand demonstrated resilience by defeating Kushal Krishna 3-1 to secure his place in the championship.
