The Cook Islands has reaffirmed its commitment to Pacific-led leadership through ongoing discussions with Troika Officials from the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF), alongside representatives from Fiji and Palau. Since taking on the PIF chair in February 2023, the Cook Islands has aimed to enhance unity and advocacy among Forum members. Among the key issues reviewed during the latest Troika meeting were the 2024 Mission report on New Caledonia and updates on the Review of the Regional Architecture to ensure effective governance.
