Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has arrived in Tonga for the 53rd Pacific Island Forum Leaders Meeting 2024, which commenced this morning. The event, themed “Transformative Resilient Pasifiki: Build Better Now,” is scheduled to run from August 26 to 30. Tonga’s government is hosting the Forum, with Tongan Prime Minister Hu’akavemeiliku Siaosi Sovaleni presiding over the meeting. Later today, Rabuka is set to engage with the Fijian diaspora in Tonga.
