Amit Maharaj, Chief Marketing Officer of Pacific Energy, emphasized the company’s dedication to promoting talent growth by stating, “We are deeply committed to promoting grassroots growth and development for emerging athletes in Fiji. Recognizing the importance of creating opportunities that pave the way for our younger generation is crucial.” This year, Pacific Energy is also supporting the newly introduced under-18 Future Superstars division for the second consecutive year, highlighting their investment in nurturing young talent.
Lawrence Tikaram, the organizer of the Marist 7s tournament, acknowledged Pacific Energy’s impactful contribution and its significance for grassroots rugby. He announced that ticket sales have begun, featuring affordable prices to encourage widespread attendance. Notably, a special three-day grandstand ticket is available for just $22.
Set to unfold at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva from March 21 to 23, the tournament promises to be a showcase of elite rugby talent while also reinforcing community connections and promoting inclusivity within the sport.
