Elenoa Suvewa Ratudradra serves as an inspiring example of perseverance and dedication in the face of life’s challenges. With over a decade of experience in the tourism and hospitality sector, she currently holds the position of food and beverage supervisor at the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort located on Denarau Island, Nadi.
Ms. Ratudradra hails from the village of Namotomoto, with strong familial connections to Nakabuta in Nadroga, a region renowned for its beautiful pottery craftsmanship. At 43 years old, she is a proud mother of four—two boys and two girls.
Her journey at Sheraton began in 2004 when she took on the role of a temporary waiter at the Verandah Restaurant. Over the years, she cultivated her skills and transitioned to Wet Edge Restaurant in 2014, where she thrived in the fast-paced environment of food and beverage service for five years. The unforeseen challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 did not deter her spirit; instead, they strengthened her resolve. After rejoining Sheraton in 2022 as a guest service agent, her perseverance led to a promotion to team leader in 2023 and her current role as supervisor.
Reflecting on her journey, Ms. Ratudradra feels a strong connection to Sheraton, which she regards as her second home—a place that has fostered both her professional and personal growth. She enjoys the lively ambiance at Sega Na Leqa (SNL), where she values interactions with guests and colleagues.
In her words, she attributes her success to the guidance of Almighty God, as well as the support and mentorship of her leaders who have played a crucial role in facilitating her progress. She firmly believes that with hard work, sacrifice, and steadfast faith, anyone can surmount obstacles.
