John Orobulu of the Solomon Islands scored five goals as Rewa dominated Nadroga with a score of 7-0 in the opening Super Premier match of the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship (IDC) at Churchill Park in Lautoka today.
The Delta Tigers started aggressively, with Orobulu finding the net in the 21st minute. He extended the lead just four minutes later, collaborating effectively with teammate Asivorosi Rabo. Rabo also contributed by scoring in the 30th minute, and midfielder Epeli Valevou added another goal shortly thereafter, bringing Rewa’s halftime lead to 4-0.
Orobulu continued his impressive performance in the second half, netting two additional goals in the 77th and 92nd minutes to seal the significant victory for Rewa.
