John Orobulu from the Solomon Islands showcased an impressive performance, scoring five goals as Rewa dominated Nadroga with a 7-0 victory in the opening match of the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship (IDC) held at Churchill Park in Lautoka today.
From the start, the Delta Tigers wasted no time in asserting their dominance, with Orobulu finding the net in the 21st minute. Just four minutes later, he increased the lead following a well-executed play with teammate Asivorosi Rabo. Rabo himself joined the scoring spree in the 30th minute, and a minute later, midfielder Epeli Valevou made it 4-0 as Rewa went into halftime with a commanding lead.
Orobulu continued his stellar performance in the second half, securing two additional goals in the 77th and 92nd minutes to cement Rewa’s resounding win.
