John Orobulu from the Solomon Islands scored five goals as Rewa delivered a stunning 7-0 victory against Nadroga in their opening match of the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship (IDC) at Churchill Park in Lautoka today.
The Delta Tigers showed their dominance right from the start, with Orobulu finding the net in the 21st minute. He pushed the lead to two goals just four minutes later after a strong collaboration with young player Asivorosi Rabo. Rabo himself scored in the 30th minute, followed by a goal from midfielder Epeli Valevou, bringing the score to 4-0 by halftime.
Orobulu continued his impressive performance in the second half, adding two more goals in the 77th and 92nd minutes to secure a comprehensive win for Rewa.
