John Orobulu from the Solomon Islands showcased his exceptional skills by scoring five goals as Rewa decisively defeated Nadroga 7-0 in the opening match of the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship (IDC) held at Churchill Park in Lautoka today.
From the start, the Delta Tigers displayed their dominance, with Orobulu finding the net in the 21st minute. Just four minutes later, he increased the lead after a well-coordinated play with young talent Asivorosi Rabo. Rabo also contributed by scoring in the 30th minute, while midfielder Epeli Valevou added another in the 31st minute, setting the halftime score at 4-0 in favor of Rewa.
Orobulu continued his impressive performance in the second half, netting two additional goals in the 77th and 92nd minutes to conclude the match with a remarkable victory for Rewa.
