Top Solomon Islands striker John Orobulu has returned to Rewa for the Pillay Garments Champion vs Champion series. Orobulu arrived in the country earlier this week and is poised to play in the first leg of the two-legged CVC against Labasa at Subrail Park tomorrow.

The skilled forward, who won the Golden Boot award for Rewa last season, is expected to play a pivotal role in the team’s attacking lineup. His presence will be crucial as Rewa looks to assert itself in the tournament.

In addition to Orobulu’s return, Rewa has further bolstered its squad by securing the release of several key players, including defenders Kavaia Rawaqa, Gabriel Matanisiga, and Mosese Nabose, as well as Fiji U19 goalkeeper Ilisoni Koro and utility player Bruce Hughes. This strategic strengthening of the roster highlights Rewa’s ambitions in the CVC series.

The opening match of the CVC is set to kick off at 1:30 PM, promising an exciting showdown for fans and players alike.
