The Leader of the Opposition, Inia Seruiratu, has announced his intention to nominate Ruveni Nadalo, a former FijiFirst MP, for the position of Speaker of Parliament. Seruiratu described Nadalo as a distinguished leader who possesses a comprehensive understanding of parliamentary procedures and a strong commitment to democracy and inclusiveness.
According to Seruiratu, Nadalo has proven his capabilities in previous parliamentary roles, having served as Deputy Speaker during the FijiFirst government.
