A man has been arrested in connection with a case involving the possession of stolen property. On Friday, a team from the Southern Division operations conducted a raid at the suspect’s residence in Cunningham, where they recovered various electronic items and valuables believed to be stolen.
Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations (ACP) Livai Driu stated that the ongoing investigations are aimed at identifying individuals who receive stolen goods in an effort to reduce theft and robbery incidents. He noted that thieves often target items that can be easily sold for cash, including mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, laptops, and jewelry, and that those involved in such activities are being closely monitored by the police.
The suspect is currently being held at the Nabua Police Station.
