A man has been arrested for allegedly receiving stolen property. On Friday, a team from the Southern Division operations conducted a raid at the suspect’s home in Cunningham, where they confiscated electronic items and valuables thought to be stolen.

Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations (ACP) Livai Driu stated that ongoing investigations are focused on identifying individuals who buy stolen goods in an effort to reduce the occurrence of thefts and robberies.

ACP Driu noted that thieves often target items that are easy to sell for cash, including mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, laptops, and jewelry, and those involved in this trade are under the police’s scrutiny.

The suspect is currently being held at the Nabua Police Station.
