Double Olympic gold and silver medalist Jerry Tuwai is set to return to the field during the upcoming McDonald Coral Coast Sevens next year. Tuwai has been selected to join the esteemed Sevens Select team, led by the renowned coach Mike Friday.
In addition to Tuwai, the team will feature former South African player Rosko Speckman and Ireland’s Harry McNulty, both of whom bring a wealth of experience and skill to the squad.
The tournament has attracted an increasing number of international teams, including the Bula Bay 7s from Tauranga, New Zealand, and the Seattle Barbarians from the United States. This expansion of international participation underscores the growing prestige of the event.
