Double Olympic gold and one-time silver medalist Jerry Tuwai is set to make a comeback at the upcoming McDonald Coral Coast Sevens next year. Tuwai has been selected for the esteemed Sevens Select team, led by renowned coach Mike Friday.
Joining Tuwai on the team are notable players, including former South African star Rosko Speckman and Ireland’s Harry McNulty.
The McDonald Coral Coast Sevens is expected to attract an increasingly diverse range of international teams, with the addition of squads like the Bula Bay 7s from Tauranga, New Zealand, and the Seattle Barbarians from the United States.
The tournament will take place at Lawaqa Park from January 16th to 18th.
