The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) has been selected to host the OFC Men’s Champions League 2025, shifting from the initial plan for Fiji due to venue unavailability. Both the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva and Churchill Park in Lautoka are currently booked for Fijian Drua matches, which made it impossible for Fiji to act as the host.

The tournament is scheduled to run from March 29 to April 13 and will take place in Honiara. Matches are set to be held at the National Stadium and Lawson Tama Stadium. The draw for the championship will occur on December 11, with eight teams from across Oceania vying for the prestigious title that Auckland City won last year.

Fiji will be represented in the competition by Rewa, who secured their spot by winning the Digicel Premier League this year.

This change of hosts could provide an exciting opportunity for the Solomon Islands to showcase their facilities and enhance their reputation in the football community. With passionate local support and the chance for emerging talent to shine on a larger stage, this event could strengthen the vibrant culture of football in the region.
