The second day of the Oceania Fiberglass Southern Secondary Schools Football final play-offs commenced at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori, with an exciting series of matches planned for the day. The fixtures included Vashist Muni College U15 going up against DAV College at 8 a.m., followed by Tailevu North College U19 competing against MGM High School at 10:20 a.m. The U19 match featuring Rampur College against Suva Muslim kicked off at 11:30 a.m.

The competitive spirit continued with Nakasi High School U17 facing Vashist Muni College at 1:50 p.m., and Vunimono High School U15 taking on Vashist Muni College later on. The day’s activities culminated with MGM’s U19 team clashing with Rampur College at 4:10 p.m., and Suva Muslim College U19 playing against Tailevu North College at 5:10 p.m.

Reflecting on day one of the tournament, the results showcased some thrilling performances across the matches. Nakasi High U17 and DAV College ended their game in a draw at 1-1. Vashist Muni College secured a narrow victory over Rishikul Sanatan with a score of 2-1. MGM’s U19 team also battled to a 1-1 stalemate with Suva Muslim College, while Rampur College showcased their strength with a 3-1 win against Tailevu North College. Other matches resulted in draws as DAV College U15 met Vunimono High School and Rishikul U17 faced Nakasi High School, both concluding with scores of 1-1. Vashist Muni U17 dominated their match with a decisive 3-0 win over DAV College.
