Bucalevu Secondary School’s under-18 girls’ team is receiving support from notable individuals from the North as they prepare for the semi-finals of the Weet-Bix Raluve competition today. Minister for Employment, Productivity, and Industrial Relations, Agni Deo Singh, paid a visit to the team at their camp in Nasova, Suva, yesterday, bringing supplies to show his encouragement for the northern school. The team has been in Suva since last weekend after advancing through the quarter-finals, where they achieved a surprising 15-12 victory against Lomary Secondary School last Friday. They aim to continue their impressive journey today as they take on Adi Cakobau School in the semi-finals. ACS, entering as the top-seed from the Eastern Zone, is considered one of the favorites for the Raluve title. The match is scheduled to start at 1:15 PM at the HFC Bank Stadium.
