Police officers in the Northern Division have received a strong reminder about the importance of professionalism and community trust in their policing efforts. This message was conveyed by Divisional Police Commander North, Senior Superintendent of Police Kemueli Baledrokadroka, during a divisional parade held yesterday.

SSP Baledrokadroka emphasized that effective policing extends beyond merely enforcing laws; it also involves fostering strong relationships within the community and expertly managing potentially tense situations. He pointed out that community policing is essential in tackling the underlying causes of crime, urging officers to provide consistent and high-quality service as part of their commitment.

Furthermore, he called upon the officers to enhance their operational efforts and collaborate closely to restore public confidence and trust in the police force. By focusing on these principles, the Northern Division aims to strengthen its rapport with the community, ultimately contributing to a safer environment for all.
