His tenure in this role was marked by his ability to maintain decorum and ensure that debates were conducted fairly and equitably. Nadalo’s dedication to inclusivity was also highlighted through his advocacy for the use of i-Taukei and other languages in Parliament.

Further outlining Nadalo’s qualifications for the Speaker position, Seruiratu pointed to his extensive understanding of Parliamentary procedures, capacity to oversee legislation, and ability to facilitate effective debates impartially, gained from his deputy position. Seruiratu expressed unwavering confidence in Nadalo’s suitability for the role, citing his international experience, which includes studying the functioning of parliaments in other countries.

In nominating Ruveni Nadalo, Seruiratu conveyed optimism that Nadalo will uphold the legacy of previous Speakers while enhancing the level of service required for such a crucial position.
