No tolerance for unruly behavior at Fiji Rugby quarter-finals!

Director of Traffic, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mitieli Divuana has issued a warning to students and schools regarding unruly behavior at the upcoming Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union Vodafone Deans quarter-finals. The police will take necessary actions against any misconduct.

SSP Divuana emphasized that traffic officers will actively confiscate items like flags if they are used dangerously from moving vehicles. He noted the increased police presence along the Queens Highway, major arterial roads, and in the capital city to ensure safety.

“Flags are not allowed to be waved outside the windows of buses and cars, and we urge parents, teachers, and guardians to closely monitor the behavior of children,” SSP Divuana stated. He also advised drivers to plan their journeys in advance to avoid rushing.

The Raluve quarter-finals will take place at the HFC Bank Stadium in Laucala, Suva today, with the Super Deans quarter-finals scheduled for tomorrow. SSP Divuana highlighted that previous events have seen students misbehaving, and the police are ready to enforce the laws to prevent any issues during the matches.
