Former national netball representative Vasiti Vugakoto is delighted with the remarkable performance of the girls participating in the New World Suva Netball Association’s weekly games.
This year, her club, the Lomaiviti club, boasts the highest membership numbers with a total of 17 clubs and 220 members.
As the president of the Lomaiviti club, Vasiti Vugakoto acknowledges the increasing competitiveness of the competition each year.
She emphasizes the introduction of divisions for Primary School and Secondary School teams, providing a clear pathway for young players to progress through the ranks.
“I can see that the games are getting harder every year. We have now added divisions for Primary School and Secondary School teams, so players can see a clear path to progress. It’s important for us to treat every game like a final,” said Vugakoto.
