The Acting President of the Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA), Roko Apenito Kolikata, has passed away after a brief illness over the weekend.
In a statement, the Party expressed its deep sorrow, saying, “It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our Social Democratic Liberal Party Acting President Roko Apenito Kolikata Na Vunivalu Taukei Nacibawale ena vanua o Naibati.”
“Roko Apenito passed away suddenly this past weekend, and his passing has brought great grief and loss to the SODELPA community at large.”
Roko Apenito was a vibrant member and Executive of the Party, playing a leading role in its operations.
He was appointed Acting President following the death of Party President Ratu Manoa Roragaca earlier this year.
