The Fiji Police Force has announced that there were no incidents of stabbing reported at Albert Park during a concert last night. Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations Livai Driu stated that officers were present at the venue from early evening until the event concluded, and confirmed that no stabbing occurred.
He noted that rumors of such an incident arose from a social media post, prompting police to investigate the claims on-site. The officers found no evidence of a stabbing or any situation that warranted police action.
The public is encouraged to report any concerns directly to the police to ensure proper investigation, as spreading unverified claims can lead to unnecessary alarm.
