Former striker Eswa Nadan, renowned as “Ninja,” will lead the AuFFI All Stars in the upcoming Flick Hygiene Pacific Community Cup, starting Thursday at Churchill Park in Lautoka. Nadan’s primary goal is to secure the team’s first championship title in the tournament’s history.

In an interview, Nadan expressed confidence in his squad, noting their thorough preparations for the four-day event. As the host team, meeting expectations will be essential. “This year, we have a refreshed approach with a focus on winning every match,” he stated, acknowledging previous challenges in securing victories.

He emphasized the team’s diligent work in preparation, crediting President Nick Sharma for his efforts in selecting top talent, while manager Moshin Javed Nabi secured a lineup of skilled guest players. According to Nadan, the roster boasts a successful mix of young prospects and seasoned athletes, some of whom have experience in the National Premier League (NPL).

Fijian supporters can look forward to high-quality football from the AuFFI All Stars, as Nadan reiterated their seriousness in treating every match as an opportunity for victory. On the day of their opening match against Navua at 6:15 PM, they will also announce their team captain.
