An investigation is currently being conducted following a brawl that occurred outside a nightclub in Suva. The incident has gained significant attention, as footage of the altercation has been widely circulated on social media platforms.
Livai Driu, the Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, stated that he has received updates regarding the situation. A team from the Central Division is actively working to gather all individuals involved in the brawl. “The investigation is ongoing, and we will begin by interviewing the staff who were on duty at the nightclubs along that street,” ACP Driu noted.
He also emphasized that police officers were present at the scene to assist those injured, transporting them to a nearby hospital for medical attention. A few suspects are anticipated to be brought in for questioning later today.
