A violent altercation outside a well-known nightclub in Suva has resulted in six individuals being hospitalized, with two of them currently unconscious. The police have reported that the two unconscious patients are being treated at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva, along with a third person who is in stable condition. Meanwhile, three other individuals are receiving treatment at Sigatoka Hospital, all of whom are also reported to be stable.
Preliminary investigations suggest that some of those involved in the brawl are affiliated with a Rugby League club from Sigatoka, who had their awards night in Suva the previous evening. The police, led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, are currently investigating the incident and are working diligently to identify and apprehend those responsible for the disturbance.
