A violent altercation outside a well-known nightclub in Suva has resulted in six individuals being hospitalized, with two of them currently in a state of unconsciousness. Authorities reported that these two patients are receiving care at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital, along with a third person who is in stable condition.
Additionally, three others who were involved in the incident have been admitted to Sigatoka Hospital, and all are reported to be stable. Preliminary investigations suggest that some of the individuals involved in the brawl may be affiliated with a Rugby League club from Sigatoka, which held its awards night in Suva the night before the incident.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, has stated that the police in the Central Division are diligently working to identify and apprehend those responsible for the brawl.
