A violent altercation outside a well-known nightclub in Suva has resulted in six individuals requiring hospitalization, with two patients currently in a coma. According to police reports, these two people are undergoing treatment at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital, alongside a third individual whose condition is stable.
Meanwhile, three others injured in the incident have been admitted to Sigatoka Hospital, and they are all reported to be in stable condition as well.
Initial investigations suggest that some of the participants in the brawl may be affiliated with a Rugby League club from Sigatoka, which had their awards ceremony in Suva the previous evening.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, has stated that the police team in the Central Division is diligently working to investigate the matter and apprehend those involved.
