A violent altercation outside a well-known nightclub in Suva has resulted in six individuals being hospitalized, with two of them currently in an unconscious state. According to police reports, these two are under medical care at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital, alongside a third person who is reported to be stable. Meanwhile, three others involved in the incident have been admitted to Sigatoka Hospital, where they remain in stable condition.
It is speculated that several participants in the brawl are affiliated with a Rugby League club from Sigatoka that held an awards ceremony in Suva the night before the incident. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, has stated that the police are actively working on the case and are in the process of identifying and apprehending those responsible for the altercation.
