A violent altercation outside a well-known nightclub in Suva has resulted in six individuals being hospitalized, with two of them currently in an unconscious state. According to police reports, the two critically injured individuals are receiving care at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva, alongside a third patient who is reportedly in stable condition.

Additionally, three other individuals affected by the brawl have been admitted to the Sigatoka Hospital, where they are all said to be in stable condition. It is believed that some of the individuals involved in the fight may have connections to a Rugby League club in Sigatoka, which had held its awards night in Suva the previous evening.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, stated that the Central Division police are actively working to apprehend those responsible for the incident.

This unfortunate event highlights the importance of promoting safe and responsible behavior, especially during social gatherings. The proactive measures taken by the authorities to address violence and ensure public safety reflect a commitment to maintaining peace in the community. As the investigation continues, it is hoped that those involved will be held accountable, and that community dialogue around preventing such incidents will strengthen.
