A brawl outside a nightclub in Suva has sparked an ongoing investigation, following the circulation of video footage on social media. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACPO) Livai Driu confirmed he has received briefings on the incident, and a dedicated team from the Central Division is currently working to identify and apprehend all those involved.
ACPO Driu stated that the investigation will begin by interviewing the staff who were on duty at the nightclubs in the vicinity during the altercation. He also noted that police officers promptly responded to the scene, providing assistance to the injured and transporting them to the hospital for medical attention.
Regarding the investigation’s progress, ACP Driu mentioned that some individuals are anticipated to be brought in for questioning today.
