A violent altercation outside a well-known nightclub in Suva has resulted in six individuals being hospitalized. Among them, two people are currently in unconscious states and receiving medical care at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital. A third individual is also hospitalized there and is reported to be in stable condition. Furthermore, three other victims have been admitted to Sigatoka Hospital, where they are also considered stable.
Reports indicate that some of those involved in the brawl are associated with a Rugby League club from Sigatoka, which held its awards ceremony in Suva the previous day. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, stated that the Central Division police are diligently investigating the incident and are working to apprehend those responsible.
