A violent incident outside a popular nightclub in Suva has resulted in six individuals being hospitalized, with two of them remaining unconscious. The police have confirmed that these two patients are receiving care at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva, along with a third person who is reported to be in stable condition. The other three individuals involved in the altercation are receiving treatment at the Sigatoka Hospital, where they are also reported to be stable.

Preliminary reports suggest that some of those engaged in the brawl may be affiliated with a Rugby League club from Sigatoka, which held its awards night in Suva the previous evening.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, has indicated that the police in the Central Division are actively investigating the incident and are working to identify and apprehend those involved.

This incident underscores the importance of community safety and the need for responsible behavior during celebratory events. As police efforts continue, there is hope that the situation will be resolved swiftly, and that those injured will make a full recovery.
