Former Wallabies scrum-half Nic White has joined the coaching staff of the Western Force as they prepare for the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season. At 35 years old, White will assume the role of skills coach, adding to a group of four assistants supporting head coach Simon Cron.

White’s extensive 15-year Super Rugby career includes 135 appearances for the ACT Brumbies and the Western Force, with 23 of those matches played for the Force before his retirement at the end of the last season. In addition to his club experience, he earned 77 caps for the Wallabies, marking a significant international career that extended after his initial retirement last year following the Lions series.

Head coach Simon Cron praised White’s appointment, highlighting the experience, leadership, and competitive spirit he brings to the coaching staff. White expressed enthusiasm for this new chapter, indicating that the transition into coaching feels like a natural progression for him. He is keen to contribute to the development of the current squad.

Joining White on the coaching staff for the 2026 season are James Stannard, Brad Harris, and Craig Dunlea, all of whom will work collaboratively to enhance the team’s performance in upcoming competitions. This appointment not only signifies White’s commitment to rugby in Australia but also the Western Force’s dedication to building a strong foundation for future success.
