NFA Staff Celebrates First Pay Raise in Six Years!

The National Fire Authority (NFA) has recently announced a 20 percent wage increase for its operations staff. This pay rise is the first since 2017 and is intended to acknowledge the crucial contributions of NFA employees.

Minister for Local Government, Maciu Nalumisa, emphasized the significance of this adjustment in recognizing the hard work of the NFA and its staff. He stated that the initiative aims to reward their commitment and support towards the authority’s operational objectives.

Nalumisa mentioned that the government is focused on empowering staff, providing technical training, and fostering the development of firefighters. Additionally, he noted that the NFA is forming strategic partnerships to enhance service delivery, promote knowledge sharing, and ensure technical excellence.
