NFA Staff Celebrate First Pay Raise in Six Years!

The National Fire Authority (NFA) has recently announced a 20 percent wage increase for its operations staff. This adjustment is the first pay raise for employees since 2017.

Minister for Local Government, Maciu Nalumisa, emphasized the significance of this increase in acknowledging the vital contributions of NFA personnel. He stated that the initiative aims to reward the hard work and dedication of the authority’s employees, enhancing their commitment to operational plans.

“NFA is committed to staff empowerment, technical training, and development for our firefighters,” Nalumisa remarked, adding that the authority is also forming strategic partnerships to improve service delivery, share knowledge, and enhance technical expertise.
