NewWorld IGA Extends Netball Support: What’s Next for Suva?

NewWorld IGA has extended its sponsorship of the Suva Netball Association for an additional two years, covering 2024 to 2025. As a result of this continued partnership, the association will continue to be known as “NewWorld IGA Suva Netball,” highlighting the importance of NewWorld IGA as a key sponsor.

This ongoing collaboration aims to enhance the visibility and influence of netball, contributing to its growth and success in the region. Sameer Patel, a representative from NewWorld IGA, expressed enthusiasm regarding the long-term relationship with Suva Netball, calling it a rewarding experience.

Patel stated, “Our long-standing partnership with Suva Netball has been incredibly rewarding. We look forward to continuing our support and contributing to the growth and success of netball in Suva over the next two years.”

With the renewed sponsorship, Suva Netball will be better equipped to provide excellent opportunities for players and coaches, connect with the community, and host engaging events that promote the sport.

Alumeci Sachs, President of the Suva Netball Association, expressed profound gratitude for NewWorld IGA’s ongoing support, recognizing the crucial role it plays in the association’s achievements. “We are immensely thankful to NewWorld IGA for their continued support, and we look forward to the accomplishments we can achieve together in the coming years,” Sachs said.

She highlighted the significance of the partnership, noting that with the support from NewWorld, many Open Players have been able to wear the National Uniform, and U21 Suva Players have been selected for the NWYC Oceania Qualifiers in the Cook Islands as well as the Maori Netball International Secondary School Tour this year.

“We extend our heartfelt thanks to NewWorld IGA for their ongoing support and look forward to another successful season ahead,” Sachs concluded.
