A new champion will emerge in the Rams Group of Companies’ 10th Sanatan World Cup held in Sydney, as the previous titleholders, the New Zealand All Stars, faced a surprising loss to New Zealand with a score of 3-2 in the Group of 16 matches today.
The victory was fueled by the inspiration from former national players Rinal Prasad and Munit Krishna, as New Zealand Sanatan managed to pull off the unexpected upset.
In other matches, NZ Ba secured a narrow 1-0 win against Narere/Makoi, NZ Nadroga dominated Sydney Ba with a 2-0 victory, Queensland triumphed over Canberra with a 1-0 score, Sydney Suva decisively defeated Wellington 3-0, Sydney Rewa beat Ulusila 3-0, Nadi edged past Melbourne 1-0, and Labasa convincingly won against Lomawai with a score of 3-0.
