New Zealand All Stars Triumph Over Sigatoka in World Cup Match

The New Zealand All Stars, defending champions, secured a convincing 4-0 victory over Sigatoka in their second match of the Rams Group of Companies 10th Sanatan World Cup held in Sydney. This win followed a goalless draw in their opening match against Melbourne.

Captain Sandeep Raj Singh’s team showcased a strong performance, scoring both of their first-half goals early in the match. Jayden Reddy opened the scoring in the 17th minute, skillfully evading Sigatoka’s goalkeeper Ravinesh Singh to find the net. Midfielder Dhanush Chandra added the second goal with a powerful free-kick that slipped through the goalkeeper’s hands.

Despite Sigatoka’s efforts, featuring players like Ravnesh Karan Singh, Romit Narayan, Patrick Joseph, Ravinesh Reddy, and Savinesh Mudaliar, they struggled against the Kiwis’ dominance. New Zealand retained control in the second half, with Evinish Prasad scoring their third goal, and Reddy sealing the match with a penalty, bringing the final score to 4-0.
